The library subscribes to several reference databases to help you find information that may not be available without a subscription. Several of these databases, namely Mango Languages and Gale Career Transitions were provided through an LSTA grant that the Inland Library system received on behalf of its member libraries.

Mango Languages
provides online language courses in many languages such as Spanish, French, German, Russian, Vietnamese, Greek, and more. It also provides English courses for native speakers of 11 languages. Career Transitions has lots of resources to help people choose careers or find new jobs. Match your interests with a new possible career path!

Along with those important research tools, Banning Library District provides access for its patrons to General OneFile, a database that gives you access to over 7,800 articles from hundreds of periodicals (magazines and newspapers), including the New York Times.
